To perform this action you need administrator access to moodle installation, after login go to:
>site administration>users>accounts>user profile fields
http://<moodle_url>/user/profile/index.php
To use this field, in mass upload for example you have to set a unique name at the first time
- shortname: not use special chars use common identification or combination. Ex: identificaction_passport (internally moodle add profile_field_) , the final name has to be profile_field_identification_passport
- name: not restrictions use your imagination
- description: appropriate description to identify field.
Some additional parameters are needed use those discretionally.
